Community Initiatives

at Gardens Animal Hospital

At Gardens Animal Hospital, we believe in giving back to the community. Whether it be The Justice Program that allows all retired K9 Officers to receive special medical benefits and discounts, or the wonderful rescue groups we work with to offer low-cost spays, neuters, vaccines and medical treatment, our commitment is to continually give back to our community to improve the health and wellness of our local pet population.

The Justice Program

Many retired K9 Officers do not receive any medical benefits after retiring from field service. We wanted to change that. The Justice Program at Gardens Animal Hospital gives all retired K9 Officers the benefit of receiving lifelong medical benefits and discounts after retirement. We also work with working K9 Officers, too! We even have a special designated entrance for our K9 officers so they can come and go easily.

We rely on donated time and monetary donations to offset the costs of these discounted services for our K9 heroes. Contact us for more information and to find out how you can help! Text “Justice” to 561-622-6300 to donate!

A Second Chance Rescue is devoted to saving pregnant and nursing dogs, cats, and their offspring by keeping them in safe, healthy foster environments until they are adopted by loving forever families. The organization also promotes animal welfare and the prevention of homeless animals by means of spay/neuter education and working toward the goal of a euthanasia-free community.

A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue, founded in October 2007, is a 100% volunteer, foster-based 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue group based in Palm Beach County, Florida.

At the moment, Gardens Animal Hospital has carefully chosen animal rescue and rehabilitation organizations that we know will directly impact and improve our local pet populations. We have lovingly donated our time and helped drive initiatives to support these Palm Beach County-based not-for-profit organizations. However, we’re always open to being of service in other ways that can improve the lives of pets in our community and beyond. If you have an organization that you think would be a good fit for Gardens Animal Hospital, please contact our office via email so we can consider the opportunity.

We offer free new adoption exams and discounted vaccines for all dogs and cats adopted through All For One Pet Rescue and A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue.

Through The Justice Program, we do offer discounted and/or free services for dogs that qualify. These free or discounted services depend on donations on-hand. However, services and medications for The Justice Program members are always discounted.

We also offer financing options for pet families who are in need of alternative payment options. Please contact our office to learn more about our financing options.
