Pet Veterinarian Services
at Gardens Animal Hospital
Annual wellness exams are important for keeping your pet in tip-top shape. Our pet veterinarian team at Gardens Animal Hospital works with you to develop a wellness program that’s right for your pet, prioritizing diet, exercise, coat health, and cognitive optimization. During these wellness exams, we include important screenings based on your pet’s age, environment, breed, and habits to ensure long-term health while administering necessary and recommended vaccinations.

Elderly Pets
At Gardens Animal Hospital, we understand the unique needs of the elder pet, so our senior pet wellness program prioritizes their needs as they age, considering things like joint health, diet, cognitive disposition and even diet changes. The challenges and choices that come with elder pet care are much different than those which pet parents contend with during the puppy and adult years. Walking you to and through the elder years of your pet’s life is a role we take seriously and offer support and guidance to make the best choices for this unique stage of life. When needed, we offer compassionate hospice services and in-office or at-home pet euthanasia.
Urgent Care & Walk-In Care
Whether your pet is just not feeling like themselves, or they’ve gotten themselves into a precarious situation, Gardens Animal Hospital is available 6 days a week from 8 am to treat the urgent care and walk-in needs of your pet. Gardens Animal Hospital is always staffed with at least two veterinary doctors during our operating hours. Our veterinary doctors are available to treat pets in non-life -threatening situations seeking urgent medical attention. For after-hours emergencies, clients may access our pet emergency and referral center.

Frequently Asked
Questions
Where are you located?
Gardens Animal Hospital is located on Northlake Boulevard going in the east direction toward I-95 and is accessible from I-95 at exit 77. When taking exit 77 off of I-95, go west and make a u-turn to access our location. You can also access Gardens Animal Hospital from local roads nearby, such as Military Trail, Congress Avenue, and even Florida’s Turnpike.
Why is Gardens Animal Hospital different from other local veterinarians?
Gardens Animal Hospital is different from most other local pet veterinarian practices because we are a privately-owned, multiple-doctor animal hospital. Nearly all of the remaining pet veterinarian practices that have more than 1 doctor are corporately owned, and therefore are beholden to corporate policies, fee structures, and red tape. At Gardens Animal Hospital, we take care of your pet’s needs completely on-site and form a care plan to meet your pet’s unique needs without waiting for outside approval or limitations set by corporations.
How many veterinary doctors work at Gardens Animal Hospital?
Gardens Animal Hospital currently has 6 veterinary doctors on staff, with 2 on-site at all times. This ensures that your pet is well taken care of during their wellness visit, or if they need urgent or walk-in care. Being able to ensure that your pet is cared for no matter what the circumstance is among the most important reasons we are a multi-doctor practice.
